After practicing in Orlando, Dr. Brienen returned to his hometown to join Eye Associates in July of 2006; he was born in Peoria, Illinois. Raised in Tallahassee, he attended North Florida Christian high school. The majority of his undergraduate education was spent at Florida State University.
Dr. Brienen, a Florida Board Certified Optometrist, graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in 2005. He is a member of the American and Florida Optometric Association and the NWFOA. He enjoys volunteering in local school and church vision screenings.
Dr. Brienen’s hobbies include traveling, basketball, wakeboarding, golfing, and sporting events. He is also an avid runner.
